(Juniors and Seniors) have been shortlisted.
The Second Round is scheduled to be conducted online via Zoom on 12 January 2026.

About the Competition
GYS Charaka Science Medal 2026 Contest is A National Online Multimedia Science Mega Quiz Competition
for students studying classes 6 to 10.
The objective is to promote interest in Science that could trigger enthusiasm towards innovation.
GETA Young Scientist Program has been publishing Online Science Quizzes every Wednesday at 7 PM since 26 January 2022.
About 50,000 quizzes were taken by students from all over India in the first year.
All quizzes are open for repeated practice in the Quizzes section.
This competition is exclusively on Quizzes 151 to 200, i.e., all questions in the Competition are from those quizzes.
This competition is Completely Online. So, you have the comfort of participating from home.
The competition is conducted in two categories, viz., Juniors and Seniors. Students from 6th Class and 7th Class belong
to Junior Category. Students from 8th, 9th, and 10th Classes belong to Senior Category.

The competition is in Two Rounds.
- Round 1 on 24.12.2025: A multimedia Online Quiz for 30 minutes. Link will be open by 7PM. 10 Students will be shortlisted for Round 2 from each Category.
- Shortlisted Studens for Round 02 will be announced on 27.12.2025.
- Round 2 on 12.01.2026: A LIVE Quiz via Zoom Video Conferencing. This Round would be conducted separately for Juniors and Seniors. All shortlisted Students of a Category would be invited to the LIVE session together. This will be a rapid round and 10 min for each student. Each student will face the LIVE Quiz and THREE Winners will be selected.

Just 50 Quizzes. 25 MCQs each. Average 8 minutes to practice one quiz. All in all, 1000 interesting Multimedia questions. 5 to 6 hours of total practice. On the Mobile itself. Wonderful opportunity to win Certificates and Prizes.

Competition Terms & Conditions
- Students studying Class 6 to Class 10 can participate.
- Students from Government, Aided, Corporate and Private Schools can participate.
- Language for the competition is English.
- There is NO ENTRY FEE to participate in this Competition.
- Evaluation will be done by a Panel of Educators and Eminent Personalities. Decision of the Panel would be final.
- Results will be published on GYS Charaka Science Medal 2026 website. Winners will be intimated via phone/WhatsApp/email.
- Prizes and Cash Vouchers would be delievered to Winners by Courier. There is no need to travel to a Venue for Prizes Distribution. However, if there is an opportunity for a Ceremony, you will be intimated in advance.
- All participants would receive a Participation Certificate by email.
