India faces environmental challenges due to pollution impacting human health, ecosystem and economy There are majorly two types of pollution:, 1.Air pollution - This occurs due to the harmful and toxic gases and smoke produced by many vehicles, burning of garbage, chimneys, Household combustion devices etc., 2.Water pollution -It occurs due to the release of harmful gases into water which is caused by throwing garbage into the water, washing dirty clothes, sewage (waste water) from house hold,etc. These all activities are done in the large area of water like ponds,lakes etc. where marine and aquatic life is affected due to all this., Pollution can even lead to health risks and environment degradation.
