🧠 Problem Title: Losses Faced By Farmers From Trader Intermediaries
📝 Problem Description

Farmers are the backbone of our country. They are the unrecognized ones. They produce the food we eat. Many economic obstacles are faced by them, like low income, fluctuating market price, high costs of raw goods, loss due middle men. And there are also many environmental challenges like water shortage, unpredictable weather, soil erosion. Here I want to concentrate on the economic ones ., Losses faced by farmers due to middle men(trader intermediaries). After the crop yielding middle men approach the farmers and ask them to sell for them. As there is no proper knowledge for the farmers about market price and due to lack of place for storage, they also would like to sell to the middle men. This became an advantage to the middle men they give less amount to the farmers and sell yield two or three times the price given to the farmers where the farmers are facing lots of loss. For example , A farmer produced 200 kgs of tomatoes, he has no proper place to store them and he had no idea of the market price so he decided to sell it to the middle men. Then he gave 10rs per kg. Next he sold it to the shop keepers for double the amount i.e.20rs, and these men sell these tomatoes for 30rs i.e. triple the amount for the people. These middle men are cheating the farmers which is causing them lot of financial pressure. This is affecting their livelihood. This can be reduced by providing them proper knowledge about market prices and by providing them good infrastructure. A Farmer’s well being leads to People’s well being ., THANK YOU
