📝 Problem Description

1. Dangerous Manual Sewer Cleaning, In many cities, sewer maintenance still depends on manual labor where sanitation workers enter underground drainage systems to remove sludge, plastic waste, and debris. These environments are extremely hazardous and unsafe., 2. Presence of Toxic and Deadly Gases, Sewer pipelines contain toxic gases such as methane (CH₄), hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), and carbon monoxide (CO) produced from decomposing organic waste. Exposure to these gases can cause breathing failure, unconsciousness, or even death within minutes., 3. Exposure to Polluted and Contaminated Water, Sewer water contains harmful bacteria, viruses, and industrial chemicals. Direct contact with such contaminated water can lead to severe skin diseases, lung infections, and long-term health problems for sanitation workers., 4. Difficulty in Detecting Blockages, Underground pipelines are long, narrow, and inaccessible. Locating the exact position and thickness of blockages is very difficult, forcing workers to manually inspect sewer chambers., 5. Lack of Real-Time Monitoring Systems, Current sewer systems do not provide real-time information about gas concentration, pollution levels, or blockage status. Without monitoring technologies, municipal teams cannot detect problems early., 6. Urban Flooding and Environmental Pollution, Blocked sewer pipelines often lead to water overflow on roads, causing traffic disruption, foul smell, environmental pollution, and increased flooding during heavy rainfall., 7. Need for a Smart Technological Solution, These problems highlight the urgent need for an intelligent robotic system capable of detecting blockages, monitoring toxic gases, analyzing water pollution, and transmitting real-time data without requiring humans to enter hazardous sewer environments.
