The root cause of many challenges in India is -an education system that prioritizes rote memorization over skill learning. Currently, the system functions as a memory test rather than a knowledge test. This has led to a generation of students who focus solely on high marks and job packages, rather than national development or creative problem-solving., Key Observations:, Values vs. Facts: In Language subjects, students memorize story plots to pass exams but fail to internalize the morals or apply them to social conduct., Theory vs. Application: In Science and Maths, formulas are taught as abstract rules. Students do not understand the why or how behind derivations, making them unable to use these concepts to solve real-world engineering or local infrastructure problems., Disconnected History: Social Sciences focus on memorizing dates and names instead of analyzing historical patterns to improve modern-day civics and economics., The Innovation Gap: Because Innovation and AI or IT are treated as extracurricular or optional, students natural curiosity is suppressed by the pressure of the core curriculum. Innovation should be taken as a main subject. The Impact:, We are producing degree holders instead of problem solvers. This lack of practical knowledge directly hinders Indias potential for grassroots innovation and self-reliance or Atma nirbharta.
