However, it is often observed that despite the presence of dustbins, garbage is thrown around them instead of inside. In many cases, dustbins are already overflowing and are not emptied regularly, which forces people to dump waste nearby., This results in accumulation of garbage in open areas, creating unhygienic conditions and unpleasant surroundings. The problem is not only due to lack of infrastructure, but also due to improper usage, poor maintenance, and lack of awareness among people., I have personally observed that even when dustbins are clearly available, waste is scattered around them, and many dustbins remain unattended for long periods. This reduces their effectiveness and leads to visible pollution in public spaces., Such conditions can attract insects, create bad odors, and negatively affect the cleanliness of the environment. The issue highlights a gap between availability of facilities and their proper use and maintenance.
