Road accidents caused by sudden health issues of drivers, such as heart attacks or unconsciousness, are a major concern in public transportation systems. In many cases, drivers lose control of the vehicle due to unexpected medical conditions, leading to serious accidents, injuries, and loss of life. Currently, there is no real-time system in most buses or public vehicles to monitor the driver’s health condition continuously., This problem becomes more critical in long-distance travel and rural areas where immediate medical assistance is not available. A delay in detecting such emergencies increases the severity of accidents. Therefore, there is a need for a smart system that can monitor the drivers vital signs, detect abnormalities instantly, and take automatic safety actions such as stopping the vehicle and alerting authorities.
