Food is a basic necessity for every individual, and we consume items like milk, oil, and spices daily without questioning their quality. However, a serious problem exists in the form of food adulteration, where harmful or low-quality substances are mixed with food products to increase quantity and profit. This issue often goes unnoticed because it is not always visible to consumers., In many cases, milk is diluted with water or mixed with chemicals, cooking oil may contain reused or inferior quality oil, and spices are often mixed with artificial colors or impurities to enhance appearance. As students and consumers, we are mostly unaware of these practices and continue consuming such food regularly., From my observation, people usually trust local shops and markets without checking the purity of the products. Since adulterated food does not always cause immediate serious effects, the problem is ignored. However, continuous consumption of such food can lead to health issues like stomach disorders, weakness, and even long-term diseases., This problem affects not only individuals but society as a whole. It reduces the quality of food available in the market and increases health risks without people realizing it. Therefore, food adulteration in daily items is a hidden but serious issue that needs awareness, regular checking, and strict control measures to ensure safe consumption.
