During my recent journey in a sleeper class train, I observed that the quality and hygiene of food provided to passengers was poor and unsafe. Meals served by vendors or pantry services appeared to be prepared in unhygienic conditions, stored improperly, and exposed to dust and contamination during the journey. Some food items seemed stale, were not properly packaged, and were handled without basic cleanliness., This issue became more concerning during the long journey, as passengers, including myself, had limited food options and had to depend on onboard services. Consuming such unhygienic food can lead to health problems like food poisoning, stomach infections, and general discomfort, especially for children and elderly passengers., I also noticed a lack of proper monitoring and quality checks on the food being sold. With limited alternatives available during travel, passengers are often forced to compromise on food safety. Such poor hygiene standards not only risk passenger health but also reduce trust in railway services., Ensuring clean, safe, and properly handled food in sleeper class trains is essential to protect passenger well-being and provide a better travel experience.
