🧠 Problem Title: Open drainage system
📝 Problem Description

Defects for open drainage system:, 1.Blockages and clogging •Cause:Debris like leaves, trash,or silt build up can obstruct the flow of water leading to stagnant water and potential flooding., •Effect: Reduced capacity for water flow, leading to over flow or flooding in surrounding areas., 2. Erosion, •Cause: Continuous water flow especially during heavy rain can erode the sides and bed of the drainage channel., •Effect: Can widen the drainage channel, causing structural instability and reducing its efficiency., 3.Cracks and structural Damage:, •Cause: Poor construction materials, soil movement,or the natural process of the drainage system., •Effect: Cracks or holes can appear, allowing water to sleep out, causing further damage to the surrounding environment or nearby infrastructure., 4.Inadequate slope (or) Gradiement :, •cause: if the drainage channel is not built with the proper slope water May not flow efficiently., •effect: This leads to stagnant water or pooling which can breed mosquitoes and other pests or even cause localised flooding., 5.Infiltration of pollution:, •cause: open drainages can become a conduit pollutants from surrounding areas, such as chemicals, oils, and waste., •effect: pollution can harm local ecosystems, contiminate water resources and pose a health risk to the community., 6.vegetation growth : •cause: overtime, plants like grasses and weeds may grow in the channel, obstructing water flow., •effect: vegetation growth reduces the drainage capacity and can contribute to blockages.
