The increasing use of high-speed racing bikes among school and college students has become a serious safety concern. Many young riders are attracted to powerful motorcycles and tend to engage in overspeeding, racing, and stunt riding, often without proper training or safety measures., Studies show that young riders (18–25 years) are highly prone to risky behaviors such as speeding and traffic rule violations, which significantly increase accident risk. In India, two-wheeler riders account for a large share of road accidents, and lack of experience combined with thrill-seeking behavior makes students more vulnerable ., Additionally, factors like peer influence, social media trends, and easy access to high-performance bikes encourage reckless riding. Many students also neglect helmet use and ride without valid licenses, further increasing the danger., This issue not only endangers the riders but also poses a threat to pedestrians and other road users. It leads to severe injuries, loss of life, and increased burden on families and the healthcare system. Immediate awareness and strict enforcement of safety regulations are required to address this growing problem.
