🧠 Problem Title: Arsenic Poison In Every Sip -The Silent Killer In Rural Handpumps.
📝 Problem Description

Millions in rural India unknowingly consume water that slowly poisons their bodies every single day. This poison has no colour, no smell, no taste and cannot be seen by naked eye. Yet it silently destroys health of countless rural families who have no other option but to drink from local handpumps. This invisible killer is called Arsenic., Arsenic dissolves into groundwater at nano level meaning particles are so incredibly tiny that no ordinary filter can remove them. Since arsenic exists in dissolved ionic form at nano scale it is completely undetectable without laboratory testing. Rural villagers have zero access to testing facilities. They see clear water from handpump and assume it is safe. This dangerous assumption is costing them their lives every single day., WHO safe limit is 10 micrograms of arsenic per litre. But in many rural areas of India arsenic levels reach 50 to 300 micrograms per litre which is 5 to 30 times above safe limit. Most affected states are West Bengal Bihar Uttar Pradesh Assam and Jharkhand. Over 30 million Indians are at serious risk and most are completely unaware of this hidden danger., Long term arsenic consumption causes Arsenicosis starting with dark patches on skin then organ damage and finally cancer. Arsenic is a proven Group 1 carcinogen causing skin lung bladder and kidney cancer. Children are most vulnerable as arsenic directly damages brain development and reduces intelligence. Studies confirm children drinking contaminated handpump water score significantly lower in cognitive tests. Pregnant women face higher risks of miscarriage and newborn disabilities., No simple affordable system exists to detect or remove arsenic at village level. Government testing is rare and results never reach villagers. Filters exist but are too costly for poor families. Awareness is almost zero. Every sip should give life not take it. Arsenic in rural handpumps is a silent crisis demanding innovative solutions.
