Every day on my way to school from Barari to Dumar, I see dozens of stray dogs struggling to survive on our streets. Because they dont have regular food or a safe place to stay, they are constantly hungry and stressed, which makes them very aggressive toward people passing by. I’ve noticed that they often bark at or chase bikes and cars, leading to scary road accidents, and they sometimes even attack kids or elderly people walking alone. It is a double-sided problem: the community is living in fear of dog bites and diseases like Rabies, while the dogs themselves are suffering from injuries and starvation because there is no proper system to vaccinate, sterilize, or shelter them. This conflict is getting worse because of open garbage piles that attract more packs, making our neighborhoods feel unsafe and chaotic for everyone.
