🧠 Problem Title: “From Waste to Worth: Bridging India’s Hunger Gap”
📝 Problem Description

Every day in India, tons of perfectly edible food are thrown away from homes, restaurants, and grand celebrations, while at the very same time, countless people sleep hungry. This stark contrast forms the core of the “Food Waste vs Hunger Gap” problem—an issue that is not just about scarcity, but about poor distribution and lack of awareness., In urban areas especially, food is often prepared in excess to display abundance or avoid shortage, but the surplus rarely reaches those in need. Instead, it ends up in dustbins. On the other hand, daily wage workers, homeless individuals, and underprivileged families struggle to secure even one proper meal a day. The absence of a real-time, organized system to connect surplus food with hunger-affected communities makes this gap wider., This problem directly impacts living standards by increasing inequality and wasting valuable resources like water, energy, and labor used to produce that food. It also affects businesses, as wastage translates into financial loss., Addressing this issue is not just a social responsibility but a necessity. By creating efficient distribution channels, raising awareness, and encouraging responsible consumption, we can turn excess into access—ensuring that food nourishes lives instead of filling landfills.
