Schools play an important role in the overall development of students. However, it is often observed that academic performance receives much greater attention than sports and physical activities in many schools.
In several situations, students may receive limited time for games and physical exercise, while most focus remains on classroom studies, tests, and examinations. Students who show interest or talent in sports may not always receive equal encouragement, facilities, or opportunities compared to academic achievements.
I have observed that in some schools, sports periods are limited and physical activities are sometimes treated as less important than academic subjects. Lack of regular sports participation may affect physical fitness, teamwork skills, mental well-being, and talent development among students.
This problem highlights the gap between academic education and balanced student development. Sports and physical activities are important for improving health, discipline, confidence, and overall growth of students.
