🧠 Problem Title: Inadequate bathroom safety measures for senior citizens
📝 Problem Description

Many senior citizens face severe health and safety risks due to inadequate safety modifications in residential and public bathrooms. Traditional bathroom designs often lack critical features such as secure grab bars, non-slip flooring, raised toilet seats, and accessible walk-in showers. Because surfaces frequently become wet and slick, these standard layouts drastically elevate the risk of accidental slips, trips, and severe falls among older adults. This deficit in universal design directly compromises independent living, forcing many seniors to rely heavily on caregivers for basic hygiene tasks or avoid proper bathing altogether out of fear. Financially and systematically, the lack of preventative safety infrastructure leads to a high volume of preventable emergency room visits, long-term hospitalizations, and costly physical rehabilitation therapies sometimes causes death . Ultimately, the absence of standardized, affordable bathroom safety measures significantly degrades the daily quality of life, autonomy, and physical well-being of the aging population.
