Railway platforms are designed to help passengers safely board and exit trains. However, it is often observed that in some railway stations, the height or horizontal gap between train doors and platforms is not properly aligned.
In many situations, passengers may have to step up, step down, or cross wide gaps while entering or leaving trains. Elderly people, children, differently-abled individuals, and passengers carrying luggage may face additional difficulty during boarding and deboarding.
I have observed railway platforms where uneven height differences and clearance gaps between the platform edge and train doors create inconvenience and possible safety concerns. Crowded conditions may further increase the difficulty of safe passenger movement.
This problem highlights the importance of standardized transport infrastructure and passenger safety design. Better alignment and safer boarding systems may help improve accessibility, comfort, and travel safety in railway stations.
