🧠 Problem Title: Short Video Scrolling Gradually Reduces Teenagers’ Ability to Stay Focused on Slow Real-Life Activities
📝 Problem Description

Many teenagers today spend large amounts of time continuously scrolling through short video platforms, reels, and rapidly changing online content. These platforms provide instant entertainment, fast emotional stimulation, and continuous novelty within a few seconds.
After long-term exposure to this pattern, many students slowly begin losing patience for slower real-life activities such as studying textbook chapters, reading long passages, attending lectures, completing homework, having conversations with family members, or even sitting quietly without using a device.
Students often open social media “for a few minutes” but continue scrolling much longer than intended because the content keeps changing rapidly and unpredictably. Over time, this repeated habit affects attention span, sleep schedules, time management, and emotional control.
Many teenagers themselves recognize the problem but feel unable to stop scrolling despite knowing that important work is pending. Some students experience guilt, stress, reduced confidence, and frustration after wasting several hours online unintentionally.
The issue also affects relationships inside families. Parents may think children are becoming careless or lazy, while students may silently struggle with distraction, overstimulation, and constant digital dependency.
This problem is increasing rapidly across urban and rural areas because smartphones and short-form content platforms are now widely accessible to students of almost every age group.
Although the effects are visible daily, the gradual loss of attention control caused by continuous short-content consumption is often ignored because it develops slowly over time rather than appearing as a sudden problem.
