In many families, parents spend large portions of their free time on mobile phones for office work, social media, videos, shopping apps, or messaging. Even while sitting together physically, family conversations may become very limited.
As a result, many children slowly begin feeling that their parents are “too busy” to listen completely. Small emotional issues, school stress, friendship problems, fears, or personal thoughts often remain unshared because children do not want to disturb their parents.
Over time, this silent communication gap may reduce emotional bonding within families. Some children may gradually stop expressing feelings openly and begin handling emotional stress alone despite living in the same house with family members.
The issue develops slowly and silently in daily life, which makes it difficult to notice immediately. Although technology connects people digitally, it may unintentionally reduce meaningful emotional interaction inside homes.
