Students spend long hours carrying school bags and attending classes in schools and coaching centers. However, it is often observed that many students carry heavy bags daily while also sitting continuously for extended periods during study sessions.
In many situations, students remain seated in classrooms and tuition centers for several hours with limited physical movement. Continuous sitting, combined with bag weight and improper posture, may create physical discomfort, fatigue, and strain on the back, shoulders, and neck.
I have observed students carrying overloaded bags and spending most of their day sitting in study environments for long durations. Such routines may reduce physical activity and affect posture and comfort levels among school-going children.
This problem highlights the importance of balanced educational routines, ergonomic seating, and awareness regarding physical well-being in students. Better school practices and healthier study environments may help reduce unnecessary physical strain.
