Every year we celebrate Independence and Republic day with joy and children buy paper or plastic Tiranga for the celebration. Shopkeepers also sell paper and plastic flags at a good price. But when the celebration is over, nobody cares about those paper flags. The flags which were selling at good prices on celebration day, have no value on another day. The worst thing anybody can see are these paper or plastic flags found in garbage which is a very disrespect to our Nation’s pride. The Tiranga for which our many freedom fighters and soldiers have sacrificed their life, this problem is showing disrespect to their struggle and sacrifice. According to Flag Code 2002, the punishment for disrespecting the Indian Flag is up to 3 years or more. But after such rules and regulations, people throw away the flags in garbage.
