During monsoon, floods are a common problem faced by rural people.Many farmers lose their crops due to flooding and sometimes their house also gets damaged.But nowadays flood is not limited to rural areas but it also extends to the well developed cities.For example in news we hear about Mumbai flooding and other cities flooding leading to several casualties. In my state Uttarakhand, schools and offices remain closed due to heavy rain and flooding affecting student and daily earners lives.Flood can be turned to worst natural disaster such as 2013 North India floods on which a movie named “Kedarnath” is made.This problem occurred due to poor drainage system,blockage of debris in the flowing water and sometimes excessive release of water from several dams.
