Problem Description:-
While studying in school, I personally experienced discomfort due to fixed benches and tables that did not suit my height or seating posture. Curious about whether this issue was common, I discussed it with my classmates and friends, and many of them shared similar experiences of back pain, discomfort, and insufficient table space during long study hours. To further understand the extent of this problem, I also spoke with my cousins studying in different schools, and surprisingly, they reported facing the same issues in their classrooms as well.
This consistent feedback from students across different schools indicates that the problem is not limited to a single classroom but is widespread. Fixed benches and tables fail to accommodate the varying heights and comfort needs of students, leading to poor posture, physical strain, and reduced concentration. In many cases, the limited table surface and lack of personal space between two students further affect their ability to study effectively.
These observations highlight the need for a more flexible and student-centric approach to classroom furniture design that can adapt to individual needs and improve the overall learning experience.
