PROBLEM DESCRIPTION :
Road accidents are a major concern in today’s world, and a large number of them become fatal not only due to the severity of injuries but also because of the delay in receiving timely medical assistance. In many situations, the victim is alone at the time of the accident and may become unconscious, injured, or unable to communicate. As a result, they cannot call for help or inform anyone about their condition and location.
Even when people are present nearby, they may not be aware of the victim’s identity, emergency contacts, or medical details. In some cases, bystanders hesitate to get involved, which further delays the process of informing emergency services. This lack of immediate response can significantly reduce the chances of survival, especially in critical situations where every second is important.
Moreover, in remote areas, highways, or during night-time, access to immediate help becomes even more difficult. Currently, there is no widely used system that can automatically detect accidents and take necessary action without human intervention.
This creates a serious gap in emergency response systems. Therefore, there is a strong need for a smart and reliable solution that can detect accidents and instantly alert emergency services with the victim’s location and essential information, ensuring faster assistance and improving chances of survival.
