🧠 Problem Title: Critical Infrastructure Assessment: Resolving Recurrent Waterlogging and Drainage Blockages During Heavy Rainfall & Urban Drainage Infrastructure Deficiencies: Remediation Strategies for Severe Wet-We
📝 Problem Description

In many localities, drains are poorly designed, clogged with silt, plastic, and garbage, or simply unable to handle moderate rainfall. As a result, streets, housing lanes, market roads, and school routes become waterlogged within minutes of rain. This disrupts movement, damages goods and property, creates foul odour, and encourages mosquito breeding and disease spread. Shops may remain closed, children may miss school, and residents may face difficulty leaving their homes. In some places, floodwater enters houses or stalls, causing direct financial loss. The issue is highly visible, repeated every monsoon, and strongly connected to sanitation, waste management, and civic maintenance failures.
