One month ago, my father lost ₹60,000 without his knowledge. Multiple transactions were made from his account, but he did not receive any OTPs for those transactions. After raising a complaint with the bank, the amount was eventually credited back to his account.
I have also observed many cases related to credit card fraud, where people lose money because fraudsters make unauthorized transactions and ask cardholders to share OTPs.
